What's exciting about this service is that it's an alternative to Kazaa where artists are compensated and I as a consumer don't feel burned. I will be looking to see who offers the best pay to download services over the next months.

RealRhapsody - premium legal music subscription service - Real.com
So, I just burned my first 'pay for use' CD. I'm currently doing a trial of Real Rhapsody, which coincides with a review I read in the NY Times of a very promising new musician named Regina Spektor. I went to Real Rhapsody and learned that I could download and burn to CD her new album for $4.79. Seems like a great deal, particularly after reading this review of her music. I was an emusic subscriber for years. It was a great deal: $10 month unlimited complete album downloads and burns. Then someone bought them and started charging the monthly fee plus per song, so I quit.
You have a great website here, and I'm going to tell all my friends about it.
